Follicular hyperkeratosis is a common and benign skin condition that causes rough texture and small bumps on the skin, mainly on the arms, thighs and buttocks.

It is due to the accumulation of keratin in the hair follicles and often occurs in children and adolescents with dry or atopic skin.

The therapeutic approach aims to improve skin texture and reduce dryness and roughness, through specialized skin care and mild keratolytic treatments.
